About Amazing Saturday
Eight days a week is not enough to show that some artists care, but German producer, Noblonski, and Canadian rapper, Nolto, only need one: an Amazing Saturday. Their first full length project together, Amazing Saturday is an embodiment of the linguistic concept of “wortbildung” combining different themes and aesthetics to create a new distinct identity that feels familiar. Amazing Saturday combines Noblonski’s comforting melodic optimism with Nolto’s reckless, joyful pessimism, creating a cohesive composition of complaints about life, love, libations, and liturgy. The combination preserves each artist’s signature style and familiar aesthetic while standing authentically on its own as something greater than its parts. Noblonski and Nolto’s friends graciously lend their talents throughout the album, including StapleMouth, Id Obelus, The Gumshoe Strut, Chaps, Chadio, and Cam the Wizzard. This album is not just pleasantly relaxing at the start of a weekend; indeed, it’s amazing.

About Noblonski & Nolto
Nolto & Noblonski first met in Berlin when the 2010s were still fresh. Being fans of each other’s music, it just felt natural to collaborate. This resulted in a track called “Mila Kunis”, which appeared on Noblonski’s Don’t Forget the Chaos, also featuring Thorts, If Anything & Ira Lee. A few years later, both were members of the Rap Chat, a closed group chat whose members remain a mystery to this day. Rap Chat birthed projects such as the posse cut album Saskatoon Folk Rap, produced by Rob Crooks and Noblonski; Rove’s If Not Now and Poke the Bear; and even Pen Thief Records, Noblonski’s label that specialized in creating 3D cassette releases of underground classics, new releases, and the winter and summer collections. It soon became clear that a Nolto album produced by Noblonski was needed as their styles complimented each other so well. Nolto’s honest, funny, and sometimes sarcastic lyrics were a great match for the melodic and melancholic beat compositions of Noblonski. Both artists have worked and shared the stage with a huge number of artists, including Ice T, Kool Keith, Awol One, Myka9, K-the-I???, Ceschi, doseone, Sole, MC Homeless, Epic, Noah23, Staplemouth, The Gumshoe Strut, and a whole lot more
