July 31, 2026 — (Los Angeles, CA) — Today, Detroit rapper Skilla Baby returns with the celebratory anthem “Show Me Love,” the latest taste of his highly anticipated new album The Price Of Fame, dropping August 21 via Geffen Records. More than a victory lap, the new single is a snapshot of the artist as he stands now: grateful, grown, on his grind, and without a single second to spare for haters and fake friends. Listen HERE and pre-save The Price Of Fame HERE.

“Show Me Love” puts Skilla at the helm of a powerful lineup of producers including Sean Momberger (Kendrick Lamar, Jack Harlow), Rance (A$AP Rocky, Ella Mai), BoogzDaBeast(Drake, Ye), Warryn Campbell, Hoskins, J. Hill, and Dash. The beat is smooth — richly layered melodies supported by deep bass, snapping drums, and a fiery synth solo at the end — but the star of the show is Skilla as he lays down confident bars infused with a subtle sing-song joy: “Don’t come around me, with that fake sh*t, my life amazing / ’Cause all the real n*ggas show me love.”

The new music arrives as Skilla continues to pull back the curtain on The Price Of Fame. Earlier this month, he revealed the evocative album cover — inspired by an iconic 1994 photograph of 2Pac — as well as a new trailer in which Skillaand 50 Cent discuss struggle and success. Watch HERE. That clip followed June’s short but powerfully cinematic teaserfeaturing a spoken prayer.

Skilla has been blessing us with singles, too, of course. Most recent was “Face Card” featuring Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller, a slinky bedroom cut that quickly became the #1 most added song at US Urban Radio. Before that came “GYSM”(“get you some money”), an ode to the everyday grind that earned love from VIBE, Billboard, and okayplayer., who noted, “His new single showcases his growth.”

And back in March, Skilla released “West to East” featuring 42 Dugg, an uncompromising tribute to resilience and dominance that cemented the creative camaraderie between the two Motor City greats. The duo had linked up earlier this year on Dugg’s club-ready “Thick One,” which has since gotten a remix featuringKash Doll that has its own momentum. In fact, Skilla and Kash performed the hit during a surprise cameo on Usher and Chris Brown’s current tour.

Even as he prepares to drop The Price Of Fame, Skillacontinues to demonstrate his prowess as a collaborator. Among other recent team-ups, he appears on the updated iconic Detroit anthem “WaddupDoe” by hometown hero Tone Tone featuring Icewear Vezzo, Peezy, and GMACASH. Over the past year and change, he’s also stretched out on features like Finesse2Tymes’ “Outta My Mind,” DDG’s “gta,” RTB MB and RTB Capo’s “NBA,” and Ebony Riley’s “You Better Know.”

Prior to that, Skilla dropped his Crack Music 3 mixtape, which included highlights like “Jwett,” “Donavan McNabb,”the 4Batz-assisted “So Bad,” “Sensual” featuring Toosi, and “Controversy 2” with Tee Grizzley. Just ahead of the release, Skilla celebrated his birthday with a pair of hometown shows creative-directed by none other than multihyphenate powerhouse Teyana Taylor. Guests included Sada Baby, Grizzley, G Herbo, YTB Fatt, Bfb Da Packman, and more.

All of that followed the Deluxe Edition of The Coldestmixtape, which dropped the same month that Skilla scored the coveted “People’s Champ” fan-voted slot on the XXL 2024 Freshman Class cover. Ever since, Skilla Baby has turned every high and low into jet fuel for an unstoppable rise.
