Cardi B knows how to make an entrance, and she proved it once again during New York Fashion Week.
The rapper made a surprise appearance at Huda Beauty’s NYFW launch party, arriving to the event and giving unsuspecting dinner guests quite the shock. Videos from the evening show Cardi making her way into the gathering as guests react to the unexpected appearance, flashing her signature smile and relishing in the surprise.
While it’s unclear how long Cardi stayed or what exactly went down inside the party, her surprise appearance comes just days after she teamed up with Huda Beauty for the beauty brand’s latest glam-heavy launch.
On Aug. 31, Huda Beauty announced its collaboration with Cardi for Ultra Snatched, a bold new expansion of the brand’s popular Easy Bake franchise.
The collection puts a fresh pink-and-lilac spin on the iconic complexion products, with shades designed to brighten, lift and blur for an even more dramatic finish.
The collaboration stars both Huda Kattan and Cardi, bringing together their shared love of unapologetically extra glam. The result is a collection built around brightening pinks and cool-toned lilacs, all while maintaining Huda Beauty’s signature airbrushed look.
And considering Cardi is basically a professional when it comes to a full beat, the pairing makes plenty of sense.
The new collection is being introduced through Huda Beauty’s “Snatched Baddies” campaign, a playful partnership that lets Cardi bring her trademark baddie energy to the brand.
According to Huda Beauty, Cardi helped shape the creative direction alongside Huda, leaning into a beauty aesthetic that is confident, playful, expressive and, naturally, not afraid to do the absolute most.
The cinematic campaign centers around Huda and Cardi trading lives as their worlds collide, using the Ultra Snatched routine to showcase the transformative power of the products while bringing plenty of humor and personality to the beauty campaign.
The campaign is rolling out across social media, digital platforms and in stores.
The Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder Duos retail for $43 and feature two complementary ultra-fine loose powders that can be worn separately or mixed together to customize the brightening effect.
The Cherry Lilac duo is designed for fair to light skin tones and includes Cherry Blossom Cake, a sheer soft pink, and the new Lilac Muffin, a soft cool-toned lilac.
For medium to tan skin tones, Pink Ube features Pink Velvet Cookie, a deep rosy pink, and Ube Birthday Cake, an electric lilac.
Both shades can also be blended together for a customized rosy-mauve or pinky-lilac finish.
The collection also includes Easy Bake Pressed powders for $40. The portable pressed formula comes in Ube Birthday Cake, designed for medium skin with cool lilac undertones, and Pink Velvet Cookie, designed for tan skin with warm pink undertones.
And if Cardi’s surprise NYFW appearance is any indication, Ultra Snatched is definitely bringing the drama.
