New York, NY (May 16, 2025) – Hip hop revolutionary and Public Enemy co-founder Chuck D will release “Chuck D Presents Enemy Radio: Radio Armageddon” via Def Jam Recordings on May 16. “Radio Armageddon” is the return of the voice that never left as Chuck D delivers a seismic broadcast of truth, rhythm and resistance, uniting hip hop’s pioneers and new gens alike in a militant soundtrack for the times. This is revolution on wax. A 14-track broadcast of beats, bars and fearlessness, “Radio Armageddon” assembles a legendary lineup to deliver its message in full stereo. Special guests include Daddy-O of Stetsasonic, Schoolly D, Philadelphia hip hop legend Phill Most Chill, Donald D and Jazzy Jay of the Universal Zulu Nation, hip hop’s first hype woman 1/2 Pint, ULTRAMAG7, NYC’s Miranda Writes and artists from Chuck’s own SpitSLAM Record Label Group: The Impossebulls and Blak Madeen.“Chuck D Presents Enemy Radio: Radio Armageddon” is now streaming on all major platforms and available in both vinyl and CD. From the opening salvo “Radio Armageddon” to the electric “Black Don’t Dead” where Chuck matches wits with Philadelphia’s DJ Too Tuff, from the inimitable Daddy-O on “New Gens” to the no-holds-barred finale “Signing Off” with Schoolly D, the album cuts through noise and speaks truth with volume. The first single off the album, “New Gens,” was released on April 18, with Rolling Stone describing “Its music is a wild, febrile tapestry of soulful horns, dubby echoes, and old-school beats that recall Chuck’s Bomb Squad days…”

The album was produced and mixed by C-Doc for DefBeat Posse Productions, ID! and co-produced and deconstructed by DJ MROK for Philly Wicked Productions with vocal engineering and additional production by JP Hesser at Castaway 7 Studios, Ventura, CA
