Produced by Milli Beats and 1040 (NBA YoungBoy, Polo G), “Imma Be Fine” sets Hotboii up with a luxe melodic loop complete with strings and keys. As the booming bass and trap drums kick in, he shares a hard-hitting mantra: “I’m’a be fine, handled all my business / Had my jeweler freeze time, he a masked magician / All the real n—– gone, I’m the last livin’ / Long as money talking, it ain’t gon’ do no bad business / […] / Was poor so I never apologize for living lavish.” Hotboii isn’t wasting time. In addition to teasing new music and a possible album drop on his socials, he’s also released the singles “Cornball” and “Z What I Z” in 2025, racking up millions of views on YouTube alone. November’s “No Feelings” landed on Billboard’s “R&B / Hip-Hop Fresh Picks,” who wrote, “Hotboii rips the thumping production and swerves through a woozy flow while dissing the case prosecutors attempted to build against him.” Before that came “9/11 (First Day Out),” which Hotboii released when charges against him were dropped last year, garnering more than 1.2 million YouTube views in a week and nearly 10 million total since. In 2022, Hotboii made good on his next-up status with his breakout album Blinded by Death and its Deluxe edition (listen HERE). The set fully marked the budding Florida star’s arrival, with a filler-free tracklist including hits and collaborations like “WTF,” “Tell Me Bout It,” “Live Life Die Faster” with Kodak Black, “Throw in the Towel” with Lil Uzi Vert, and “In My Field” with BIG30. A cohesive project showcasing his thoughtful lyrics, street savvy, and emotional flows, the album was a consummation of the hard work and persistence he put in during his rise. Hotboii’s initial breakthrough came with 2020’s Platinum-certified “Don’t Need Time,” a viral hit from his Kut Da Fan On mixtape that eventually got a Lil Baby-featuring remix. He quickly followed with his major label debut, Double O Baby and, in 2021, Life of a Hotboii — not to mention standout performances at Rolling Loud Miami and on the road supporting Polo G. With “Imma Be Fine,” Hotboii affirms that he’s back for good and demonstrates the heat that put him on the path to success in the first place. Follow along for more. |
