I2G is here with ILL Clinton, how’s it going?
Its going well, appreciate your time.
Tell me a little bit about how you got your start in music and who are some of your musical influences out there coming up.
I’ve been making beats since like 1998. In 2008 I linked up with Phil G The Knowbody through MySpace and made a lot of music as Philavibe. In 2009-10 I linked up with Philly artists Vas & John E Cab through Firm Taqtics. John & I created Us Natives as a production group in 2011 & started releasing instrumental music/beat tapes in 2012. I have been releasing instrumental music and half ass running Us Natives as a boutique record label ever since…Influences? Thats a whole other topic.
You just recently dropped your new single featuring Daniel Son entitled One Way Ticket. Very dope single Tell me a little bit about how the single came together for you.
