NasteeLuvzYou Interview

Check out our exclusive interview with NasteeLuvzYou.
I2G is here with NasteeLuvzYou, how’s it going?
Peace peace. It’s going great. Making music, DJing and performing for a living is good for the soul.
You just recently dropped your new single entitled No Funny, featuring Termanology. Tell me a little bit about the single and how it came together for you.
I’ve known Term since he first came out with songs, in fact my crew and I were the first to bring him up to Vermont for a show back in 2006. Over the years we’ve worked together on shows and always talked about making songs together. Term featured on my VT Union Mixtape back in ’08 but he and I both wanted to work together on a whole project. Finally around 2022, after years of being friends, we began recording what would become a number one album on iTunes in 2024, “Time Is Currency”. When I told Term I had a solo album in the works he told me to send a joint for him to jump on. That song ended up being “No Funny”.
Do you have any albums set to drop?
My debut album “Current Events” dropped on August 15th, 2025.
Do you have any more upcoming videos or singles?
As you stated, I just dropped a single with Termanology called “No Funny”. It’s the second single from my album, the first being a song I have with CJ Fly entitled “Horizons”. The third single is a song called “Free” with REKS and drops on 9.12.25 and the final single from my album will be a video drop for “My Man” featuring my brother Konflik. Probably dropping at the end of September.
What are your current thoughts on the music industry?
The music INDUSTRY is trash, always has been, but MUSIC isn’t. Streaming has silenced most great artists but nevertheless I see a great upward movement in hip hop, real lyrics and beats, so I’m hyped to see where we go next, WITHOUT the corrupt, slave-ish business called the music industry.
What is currently playing on your playlist musically?
Besides me and my own stable of artists, I been listening to the new Clipse, Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marc & Preemo and Raekwon’s new one is dope too.
Do you have any shows or tour dates?
Yes. A small tour of New England to promote the album is happening from August 25th to September 1st (Maine, Vermont & New Hampshire). Me and the AfterLyfe crew will be performing and slanging CDs.
What is your website information?

Appreciate the interview, any last words or shout outs?
Shout out to everyone making hip hop music and art from the heart. Yea, we all wanna get paid for our works but the place it comes from is more important than money in a wallet. Big ups to my brothers that repped on my album, CJ Fly, Termanology, REKS & Konflik and special salute to all the DJs and Blogs showing love and giving us coverage
