October 29, 2024 – Today, Lexa Gatesunveils the visual for “Alone,” the opening track off her acclaimed label debut album Elite Vessel. With its ethereal and airy croons, “Alone” sets the stage for the 14-track journey that follows. Produced by Lexa herself, the track reflects her journey of resilience and isolation, with every note carrying the raw, vulnerable emotion of being pushed to the edge. The visual offers a new perspective on Lexa’s interactive art installation, where she reveals herself in a deeply intimate and personal display. For 10 hours, Lexa stayed inside a transparent box, as she explored the concept of “her vessel” and its connection to her music.
The official video captures Lexa and the attendees’ raw emotions as they witness her art in real time. Fans were encouraged to engage with the album in a unique way, listening to the album through headphones synced with Lexa’s own. While they took in the music for the first time, Lexa continuously played it on loop, adding a challenging layer of mental strength. Attendees could also leave personalized messages for Lexa in a designated mailbox, bridging a direct emotional connection. The installation went viral, amassing over 250 million views across social media. Watch “Alone” HERE.
