Oakland, CA (October 15, 2024) – Hip hop pioneers and innovators from New York and California will join forces to deliver a one-of-a-kind concert to old-school rap fans at the Oakland Arena on November 9. Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Too $hort, Eric B & Rakim, De La Soul, Dilated Peoples and Mistah F.A.B. will bring the roots and the imagination of hip hop to life, celebrating rap music and culture as they trace its journey from New York and Long Island to the unrivaled scenes in Oakland and Los Angeles. Each of these legendary artists has shaped the sound, style and influence of hip-hop and “Hip-Hop 101” marks the very first time they will all come together to share the stage.
