Legendary West Coast icon and Death Row Records owner Snoop Dogg has released “Pop My Shit feat. Trinidad James” the new single from his highly anticipated upcoming album 10 Til’ Midnight arriving April 10th.
The accompanying short film, directed by Luis De Pena and Yaslynn Rivera, acts as a long-form music video for the album while paying homage to classic West Coast gangster films. Shot primarily in black and white with only red and blue highlighted, the film stars West Coast rappers Ray Vaughn, G Perico, Hitta J3, and BLK ODYSSY. It follows brothers Ru Little and Do Wrong, both played by Snoop, who represent very different paths in life and backgrounds as they navigate a high-stakes heist that goes wrong.
Infused with the unmistakable spirit of West Coast hip-hop, 10 Til’ Midnight finds Snoop Dogg fully confident and standing in his power, letting the music do all the talking. The album features Swizz Beatz, Peezy, Trinidad James, October London, Kanobby, and Shawn Louisiana, with production from Swizz, Pharrell Williams, Rick Rock, Soopafly, Nottz, MyGuyMars, Erick Sermin, YoungFyre, and Snoop himself. On April 10th, listeners can expect hard-hitting, braggadocious verses alongside laid-back, cruise-ready grooves, capturing the essence of Snoop’s signature sound and the enduring energy of West Coast hip-hop.
10 Til’ Midnight is a soundtrack for reflection and growth, a space to pause, make choices, and keep moving forward. “We’re all standing right there every night, ten minutes away from who we’re gonna be next,” Snoop says, framing the album as a personal and universal statement on ambition, self-determination, and progress.
