| Following the release of his new album trompe l’oeil,Atlanta rapper untiljapan will bring his distinct sound to stage this fall with Silence In The Ballroom Presents untiljapan Live with support from rising underground artist, PZ. The three-date tour will bring him to Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta, offering fans a rare chance to experience his raw and immersive live performance up close. The tour kicks off October 27 at The Roxy Theater (Los Angeles), followed by October 30 at Music Hall of Williamsburg (Brooklyn, NY), and wraps November 2 at The Masquerade (Atlanta).
This announcement comes on the heels of his surprise 9-song EP, Born Under Punches, and his latest album, trompe l’oeil. The album quickly cemented his reputation as one of rap’s most original new voices with praise from Pitchfork, The FADER and more. It arrived with standout singles “PYRAMIDZ” and “DIE LIKE THIS,” each paired with striking visuals. He was also named by Complex as one of the “13 Best Teenage Rappers Right Now”.
untiljapan is part of a new wave of artists reshaping the boundaries of hip-hop. Born to Nigerian parents and raised in Georgia, he first began releasing music in 2022 with his DIY EP WARHOL, recorded in his bedroom while still in high school. A year later, his debut LP SAFE TRAVELS introduced him to a wider audience with the breakout single “KISS N TELL,” which quickly crossed one million streams. Now, with trompe l’oeil and this upcoming tour, untiljapan is continuing to solidify his place in music.
