Shortly following this week’s announcement of the February 13, 2026release date for his forthcoming new album Leopard Eats Face, West Coast Rap legend Ras Kass shared the project’s heartfelt new single “Miss Me Yet?“. Today (1/16/2026) the song’s official Rob Banks-directed music video debuted on YouTube. Featuring two-time Grammy Award-winning Soul singer/songwriter Timothy Bloom, “Miss Me Yet?” is a mournful, complex reckoning with legacy, ego, and love lost. For the video, Banks shot in black and white amid downtown LA’s city skyline, giving the video a throwback aesthetic, to accompany the song’s themes.
“‘Miss Me Yet?’ is built on a double entendre—on the surface, it plays like a relationship record, but beneath that it’s a metaphor for my relationship with hip-hop and the music industry. It’s about regret, hindsight, and realizing the value of what you once had, whether after a breakup or a falling out. Produced by S Class alongside the incredibly talented up-and-coming producer Genre, the record blends smooth R&B textures with something grittier underneath. The hook, sung by my brother and double Grammy winner Timothy Bloom, elevates the song emotionally and conceptually, helping it grow and intensify as it unfolds. It’s one of the most subversive tracks on Leopard Eats Face—easy to vibe to, but layered with meaning.” – Ras Kass
