Drake: Iceman Review

Full disclosure. i’ve been pretty meh on drake for a few years now. not hating on him but not stanning either. he’s the definition of mid to me. and i don’t mean that in a terrible way. i mean he just kinda does enough to get by.

and that’s where i’m still at with him. 2 of these albums are absolute trash to me. iceman seems like his most focused album (and the one he probably originally intended to release alone). it’s the usual drake performance. some standout songs/verses here and there. some repetitive filler. same subject matter and themes as always.

it probably would have taken something groundbreaking to shake my existing opinion of him and this was nowhere near that. i assume this didn’t move anyone in either direction. if you fu#k with drake, this won’t make you stop fu#king with him. if you don’t fu#k with drake, this won’t make you finally hop on the train. and if you’re basically neutral on drake (like me)…you’ll just kinda tack this one up as another drake album.

Ice mid…7/10.

He had about 5 joints on here I liked. So much he could have did with the ice man concept and he did nothing. Don’t get why he called it Ice man in the first place
