Tell me a little bit about how you got your start in music and who are some of your musical influences
Depends on who in the crew you speak with but I would say as a whole we are inspired by artists like Mobb Deep, The Lox, Wu-Tang, Ras Kass and many more artists like that vibe. Ice Cold.
Tell me a little bit about your new album, Winter Dreamz, and how it came together for you.
Winter Dreamz is our sophomore album that was produced and arranged by The Dirty Sample. This album is a result of creating and recording weekly without a goal in mind. Just making good songs and enjoying what we do. We have been building a catalogue now for over 2 years and we are consistently trying to create projects that will convey our message. Stay Cold.
How would you say this album is different from your first album and any good studio memories or stories from the new album?
This album we found our footing as a crew. Natural evolution and growth. Because we only have essentially 2 MCs of the group on the album it was a more streamlined process in putting it all together. No drama, just crew, MPC, microphones and ill raps. I mean, and that good good smoke.
Do you have any more upcoming videos or singles?
We will have a video for “Ghost In The Snow” that we will be shooting in the next couple of weeks. Other than that you can check out or video for “Cold Forever”. Or you can check out our video for “ Mighty Icy” from our free mixtape – Ice Godz Vol -1.
What are your current thoughts on the music industry?
It moves fast. Cats are in and out the game before you can say “Tag Team – Back again”.
What is currently playing on your playlist musically?
Roc Marciano, Alchemist, Madlib, DOOM, Wu-Tang, Jadakiss, Sean P, Mobb Deep, Nas, ATCQ, Dilla, Outkast, Rome Streetz, and this list could go on and on.
Do you have any shows or tour dates?
