Rihanna is Back With “Friend Of Mine”

After nearly three years, Rihanna make her return to music with her latest release, “Friend Of Mine” off the forthcoming film, Smurf.

Over a house instrumental, the accompanying video finds Ri Ri channeling her character in the film, Smurfette singing the joys of her companion. “Ooh, I think the word here is “déjà-vu” / Just met you tonight, but you feel like a friend of mine / Feel like a friend of mine, feel like a friend of mine.”

“Friend of Mine” marks Rihanna’s first music since 2022’s “Lift Me Up” from motion picture soundtrack to Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
