October 10, 2025 — Today, multiplatinum hip-hop star Big Boogie returns with the brand-new anthem “Toot It Up.” The club-ready cut interpolates the 2007 Southern Rap classic “Get It Big” by Trap Starz Clik, reinventing the hook to shout out modern female rap powerhouses. Listen HERE and watch HERE via CMG The Label / Interscope Records.
With the new song, Boogie nods to Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Red, and Diamond the Body with playful lyrics like, “She got an ass like Latto, but she dance like Megan” and “She got a face like Diamond, but she thuggin’ like Sexyy.” The new single mixes crunk-dipped trap music with a driving Memphis bass, while the Big Dude (Big Boogie) in charge unleashes a chant-driven hook that celebrates letting loose.
“Toot It Up” is the latest bold taste of Big Boogie’s next album, Pain on Paper 4, due October 31 — pre-save HERE. Already a fan favorite before the official release, “Toot It Up” has inspired over 5,000 TikTok creates organically. High-energy, raw, and instantly addictive, the record is built to move crowds wherever people gather, tapping right into today’s culture of empowerment and self-expression on the dance floor. The “Toot It Up”video builds on that feeling while putting Big Boogie’s signature charisma on full display. He plays dual roles of club promoter (channeling the late, great Bernie Mac as Dollar Bill in The Players Club) and VIP guest of honor, hyping up a small army of exotic dancers behind the scenes and — ultimately — on the floor. In May, Big Boogie “Take Her Down,” building off of a huge 2024 in which he released both his project ETHER— including cameos from 42 Dugg, YTB Fatt, Lakeyah, and Moneybagg Yo — and the Gangsta Grillz mixtape REDRUM Wizard produced by DJ Drama. The latter launched the explosive single “BOP” featuring GloRilla, which the pair performed onstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards for Boogie’s first-ever, nationally-televised performance.
With a fervent following and massive streaming numbers behind him, Big Boogie has been putting in work since early mixtapes like 2017’s Definition of Pain. His successful 2018 track “Let Me Know” caught the ear of Yo Gotti, who signed him to CMG. Big Boogie has released a slew of projects since, including his Final Nightmare EP with the moving “Mental Healing” and his 2021 album Underrated, which has earned over 200 million streams to date. |
