Check out our exclusive interview with Supreme Da Almighty.
I2G is here with Supreme Da Almighty how’s it going?
(Supreme)It’s going good enjoying life namean
You just dropped your new album, Visions Of Optimism, tell me a little bit about the album and how it came together for you.
(Supreme)
The album is a blessing, has a track I feel everybody can enjoy and relate to.as far as how the album came together,I decided that music lately, hiphop in general has been sounding too similar nothing that really drew me in, so I decided to make a album that everyone could relate to while still staying true to the hiphop essence.
Any moments or tracks that stand out to you in making the album?
(Supreme)
Most of the songs relate to things ive experienced and struggles I went through to survive.so hard to point out specific tracks when all of them are chapters in my life.i will say that ive also felt hiphops diversity has gotten less, hiphop needs more women emcees and lyricists that deserve shots to show their worth with out a dollar amount so this albums for them.
Does Snowgoons have any other albums, mixtapes or EPs in the works?
(Supreme)
The snow goons are family they held me down from the jump just to give a better insight of how they embody real hiphop and the community. As far as albums go their always working and dropping new stuff so to keep up with their current stuff go to their website www.goonsgear.com or just check in on all platforms for their music.
Do you have any more upcoming videos or singles?
(Supreme)
Got plenty more stuff in the works but as of right now got one more video to drop called too complex dropping soon to wrap up the visions of optimism album.as of right now there’s a video for songs on youtube and Instagram such as exhale, final form ect.already working on visions of optimism 2
What are your current thoughts on the music industry in 2026?
(Supreme)
To keep it a buck there is alot of dope artists out there that definitely need more recognition but the game has always been political.dont have money don’t get recognition,no clout no respect. Everyone claims they hiphop and they for hiphop but few actually look out for their fellow emcees, and a portion of them have no plans to keep hiphop alive.it’s ppl like me and others like me that want to bridge the gaps and bring back the true essence of hiphop
What is currently playing on your playlist musically outside of your album?
(Supreme)
The snow goons, golden age hiphop ect
